

Rosali Ortega
Principal
Rosali Ortega brings over a decade of experience in education, including the past nine years with AcadeMir Charter Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Florida International University. In addition, she possesses endorsements in Reading, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Gifted Education, along with certification in Educational Leadership.
Mrs. Ortega is deeply passionate about fostering lifelong learning and critical thinking in students, with a strong commitment to preparing them for careers in S.T.E.A.M. fields of the 21st century. She has taught third through fifth grades and, in 2020, transitioned to the role of Mathematics Curriculum Specialist, where she supported instructional practices and collaborated with educators across the organization.
In August 2021, Mrs. Ortega assumed the role of school administrator and currently serves as the proud principal of AcadeMir Charter School Elementary South. She is enthusiastic about partnering with students, staff, and families to cultivate a safe, supportive, and academically enriching environment as the school continues to “Launch into Academic Excellence.”
Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Ortega is married and the proud mother of two daughters and one son.
