Acceptance Procedures
Your next chapter starts here. Review the requirements below before submitting your student’s application.
Applied before October 15? All new applicants who applied before this date must submit a new application for 2027–2028 — one per student.
New applicants
- Submit an online application.
All new applicants must submit an electronic application through the AcadeMir Charter School South (ACSS) website. Submit one application per student.
- Provide official school records.
Private school students and students who do not attend Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) must provide official transcripts or grades at the time of acceptance.
- Check your information carefully.
Incomplete information may result in non-acceptance.
Current AcadeMir families
Already an AcadeMir student?
Do not submit a new application.
If your child is currently an AcadeMir Schools student, please do not submit a new application for the following school year.
Siblings of current students who wish to attend ACSS for the 2027–2028 school year must submit their own online application.
Acceptance & the lottery process
Any eligible student, as described in Florida Statute 1002.33(10), who submits an application before the posted deadline shall be considered unless the number of applications exceeds the capacity of the program, class, grade level, or building.
If applications exceed capacity, all applicants shall have an equal chance of being admitted through a lottery process. Please review the full lottery policy for details, including enrollment preferences.
If the number of applicants falls short of the established capacity, supplemental registration periods may be held to reach student capacity.
